‘Twas the night before leaving,
when all through the cabin
Not a creature was stirring, not even a Bayden!
The bags were packed by the chimney with care,
In hopes that Omar’s taxi at 11am would be there :)
We are packed, and we even squeezed in a cheeky concert in Manchester to see Counting Crows last night – who were amazing! Today has been the panic to get photos printed to take with us for ARC passes. Went to MaxSpielmann to be told passport style pics are £12 each … haha £72 for the 6 of us, no thanks! So we went outside and took live shots with the bank grey wall in the background, added to a collage app, printed in 6×4 and came out with 2 sets of passport sized pics for £1.50 :) bish bash bosh!
Dropped off team tops with the Stubbs and came home for drinks with the neighbours while the kids played laser tag. So it’s all feeling very civilised. Left over curry for dinner (thanks Mum and Dad for ordering too much when babysitting last night) with a film. Lots of excitement and last min small ideas and thoughts (like where did i leave he elf on the flipping shelf…) but all in all not in bad shape for the off.

Onboard film night - ‘Home Alone’, bit early and festive, but lots of giggles - turns out it’s funny for all languages

How wonderfully exciting for all of you. We shall diligently follow your journey. We wish you well and lots of adventurous fun. Thank you for including us.
Lots of love, Uncle Clive & Aarani.
